FROM FOSTER CARE TO ADULTHOOD
Independent Living House helps former foster children adjust to adulthood. Along with young women in Merida and other surrounding communities. We support and educate young women (18 and over) so they can build successful futures. The organization provides housing, food, clothing, birthday and connects them with jobs.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a secure and welcoming accommodation space, equipped with comprehensive services, for young women facing vulnerability or adversity without a support system. We aim to enhance their living conditions and well-being by encouraging their academic pursuits and supporting their professional development, enabling them to achieve independence. In addition to academic and professional guidance, we offer support in areas such as socio-emotional, spiritual, and recreational pursuits, to provide an all-around experience for our residents.

Our goal is to become a reputable Student Residence, recognized both regionally and nationally, that provides quality housing, guidance, support, and encouragement to residents facing vulnerabilities. We strive to be a benchmark and ally in comprehensive development programs that empower young women to achieve their full potential in academic and professional pursuits, while promoting autonomy and independence. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for growth and development, fostering a supportive environment that enables our residents to thrive.
